Job Position: CNC OperatorLocation: Huntley, IL 60142Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hrShift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday Description:Runs CNC lathe equipment on shafts with tight tolerancesParts require some manual filing/polishingKnowledge of G code and M codeInspects material to be machined on the CNC equipment with micrometers, gauges, tape measure, calipersResponsible for the quality of machined parts produced on the CNC equipmentMaintains a safe, clean and organized work areaRoutine machine maintenance (add coolant and lubricants)Reports all non-conforming parts to their supervisorPerforms other work duties or functions as assignedQualifications: 2 years CNC experiencePrevious metal machine experiencePrevious machine shop experienceAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to read and measure in metric and is able to confidently measure down to the micron levelMeticulous attention to detailGood written verbal communication skillsStanding, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, reading prints
