AMMON Staffing is seeking a skilled, analytical, and proactive Controller to join the leadership team of a premier logistics and supply chain solutions provider headquartered in Baton Rouge. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of two affiliated business entities, offering an opportunity to shape reporting strategy, enhance controls, and support growth across a high-performing organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements (both individual and consolidated)
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and present insights to company ownership
• Manage and process accounts payable with accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts receivable with precision
• Submit required A/R documentation to lending institutions
• Oversee and reconcile insurance accounts , including Blue Cross
• Serve as payroll processing backup , ensuring continuity when needed

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced QuickBooks proficiency and comfort with accounting software
• Strong background in general ledger management , financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to self-audit
• A flexible, solutions-focused mindset and team-oriented work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
