Corporate Security Officer - Entry Level - Innovation Center (Full Time) Join to apply for the Corporate Security Officer - Entry Level - Innovation Center (Full Time) role at The Home Depot Position Overview This role involves monitoring the security of the Innovation Center and assisting Home Depot associates with security and safety issues. Key Responsibilities Patrol the Innovation Center and investigate unusual occurrences. Write incident reports and interview victims and witnesses. Respond to various emergency situations. Conduct security inspections and document issues. Operate the security control room. Monitor security checkpoints and control access as directed. Escort associates and visitors to parking facilities. Perform other security-related duties as assigned. Reporting Structure This position has no direct reports. Typically interacts with other workgroups and follows detailed instructions. Travel and Physical Requirements Overnight travel less than 10% is expected. Requires physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting. Working Conditions Primarily indoors with potential exposure to dust, fumes, temperature extremes, noise, and bright lights. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. Legally permitted to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications 3-6 months of experience preferred. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. No additional experience or education required. Skills and Competencies Ability to read and write for report writing and record keeping. Effective interpersonal communication skills.
