* Retirement package Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our thriving healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for healthcare to provide essential support to our medical staff and deliver exceptional care to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including preparing exam rooms, administering medications, sterilizing equipment, and managing patient records. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
2. Interview patients, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and record information on patients' charts.
3. Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
4. Perform basic laboratory tests, including preparing and handling lab samples.
5. Administer prescribed medications and injections to patients.
6. Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
8. Maintain accurate patient records, relevant clinical information, and medical history.
9. Handle insurance and billing processes.
10. Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis.
5. Experience with clinical procedures, such as preparing exam rooms, handling lab samples, administering injections, and sterilizing equipment.
6. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and MS Office.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients, families, and medical staff.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
9. Must have a valid certification to practice as a Medical Assistant.
10. Basic understanding of patient billing and insurance procedures.
11. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
12. Physical endurance to stand for long periods.
