About the Role:

The Inventory Logistics Manager with a production focus at Telkonet in Waukesha, WI, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire inventory and logistics process to support efficient production operations. This role ensures that materials and products are accurately tracked, stored, and delivered in a timely manner to meet production schedules and customer demands. The manager will lead cross-functional teams to implement inventory control strategies, reduce waste, and improve supply chain responsiveness. They will analyze inventory data to forecast needs, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions that enhance overall operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with advanced forecasting and demand planning tools.
  • Previous leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a production setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to inventory and logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment aligned with production requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to synchronize logistics activities and optimize material flow.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to improve accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and minimize carrying costs.
  • Analyze inventory data and production schedules to forecast demand and adjust logistics plans accordingly.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on streamlining logistics operations and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
  • Oversee the performance of logistics vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, logistics performance, and key operational metrics to senior management.
