Description
A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a non-exempt Administrative Assistant for Microbiology/Immunology for the Kirksville, Missouri campus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up shell courses in Canvas for all courses taught by the department.
• Enter student grades into Canvas grade book and semester grade-tracking spreadsheets.
• Help faculty post course materials including lecture notes, PowerPoint files, and Canvas quizzes
• Enter test questions into ExamSoft.
• Reconcile department and grant budgets.
• Coordinate case presentation exercises.
• Answer the telephone and relay messages as needed during normal office hours.
• Schedule meetings, room reservations, etc.
• Order supplies, maintain purchasing records.
• Submit purchase orders through UniMarket and travel expenditures through Chrome River for faculty.
• Interact with students, faculty, staff, and the public on a daily basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus some college
• Computer skills are essential.
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, BudgetPak, Paylocity, Chrome River, UniMarket, ExamSoft and Canvas are desirable.
• Experience maintaining budget and expenditure records is desirable.
• Ability to do repetitive work, self motivated, energetic, attention to detail, responsible, organized, collegial, able to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk down and up stairs & between buildings
