Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods through the supply chain. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader, skilled in problem-solving, and experienced in building strong vendor and carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution
Lead, train, and support logistics staff to achieve performance goals
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability
Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and company policies
Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to optimize costs and service
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers
Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
Knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
