Those in mergers and acquisition tax at PwC will focus on providing tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. Your work will involve analyzing the tax implications of such transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations to optimize tax outcomes.

The Opportunity

As part of the Federal M&A team, you are expected to lead as a technology-enabled tax advisor, leveraging digitization, automation, and efficiencies. As a Director, you will set strategic direction, lead business development, make impactful decisions, oversee multiple projects, and maintain executive-level client relationships. This role is vital in driving growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring future leaders.

Responsibilities

  2. Drive business growth through innovative tax advisory services.
  3. Oversee multiple projects, ensuring client satisfaction and quality.
  4. Build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
  5. Mentor and develop future tax leaders.
  6. Utilize technology to enhance tax processes and efficiencies.
  7. Maintain PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusivity.
  8. Collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated solutions.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 6 years of experience.
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's in Accounting or Taxation can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials may qualify.

The salary range for this position is $140,900 - $434,000, plus potential annual discretionary bonuses.
