The General Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a Region for Legacy Parking, including a team comprised of Operations and Facility Managers, Clients that own and manage assets, vendors servicing those assets, and other stakeholders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with company objectives to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  2. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of multiple parking facilities, ensuring efficient management, staffing, and maintenance. Set goals and monitor progress.
  3. Financial Performance: Manage the region's P&L, drive revenue, control costs, and strategize to improve underperforming properties.
  4. Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of managers and staff, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring proper staffing and development.
  6. Performance Measurement: Set KPIs, monitor performance, and take corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
  7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and safety standards; maintain communication with law enforcement and emergency teams.
  8. Client Management: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, resolving issues and fostering partnerships.
  9. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities and support acquisition strategies.
  10. Market Analysis & Event Preparedness: Stay informed on industry trends; manage non-standard event operations.
  11. Technology Adoption: Leverage technology to improve operations and customer experience.
  12. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on budgets and provide financial forecasts.
  13. Quality Assurance & Vendor Compliance: Conduct audits, enforce standards, and ensure contract compliance.
  14. Training and Development: Identify training needs and promote continuous learning.
  15. Reporting and Communication: Deliver regular performance reports and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
  16. Crisis Management: Prepare and respond to emergencies effectively.
  17. Other Tasks: Perform additional projects as needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of operational and leadership experience in parking or related industry, including revenue control and reporting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility.
  • Self-motivated, professional, and courteous.
  • Effective communication skills; presentation skills a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technologies.
  • Experience in budgeting, reporting, and business improvement strategies.
