Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated General Education Science teacher to support K-12 students in a Syracuse, NY school setting. This contract position will span the current school year (CSY) and involves delivering engaging science instruction aligned with general education standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives for K-12 general education science.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support student success.
• Utilize various instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in General Education and Science or equivalent credentials.
• Experience teaching science across K-12 grade levels preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
