Who are we?

Foodini is a VC-backed food tech startup on a mission to make dining safer and easier for people with food allergies and dietary needs. After launching in Australia in 2022 (150k+ users!), we have just launched in the US—starting with Los Angeles .

Our tech matches people to what they can eat across 150+ allergens and diets. We have an App to help people find suitable venues and menus; we’re live on restaurant menus like Sweetfin (allergy and dietary menu), and working on multiple large partnerships.

We believe dietary needs should never be an afterthought.

🎯 What’s the role?

We’re looking for a creative, driven, and camera-savvy Marketing Intern to join us in LA to help drive downloads of our app. This internship is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social content—especially on TikTok and Instagram Reels —and isn’t afraid to be behind (or in front of) the camera. This is an unpaid internship however we do have an expense budget to cover all costs.

If you or someone close to you has food allergies or dietary needs, that’s a huge plus—you get the mission.

🎬 What will you do?

• Film, edit, and publish high-impact content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Conduct on-the-ground interviews with real users, restaurant staff, and allergy-aware foodies
• Create viral moments through storytelling, trend-jacking, and creative formats
• Support local launch initiatives and marketing campaigns
• Attend food-focused events and activations to capture content and engage guests
• Collaborate directly with Foodini’s LA-based co-founder's and global team
• Help drive awareness and downloads of the Foodini app through engaging storytelling

🔍 Is this you?

• You’re obsessed with content—filming, editing, interviewing, ideating
• You know how to capture attention in 15 seconds flat
• You’re outgoing, creative, organized, and full of ideas
• You’re based in LA and comfortable attending in-person shoots and activations
• You love experimenting with new content formats and tracking what works
• You want to build your portfolio with a high-growth, mission-driven startup
• Experience with food, allergy advocacy, or digital marketing is a big plus
