individuals to join our team.

Teacher Aide
The ideal candidate will support classroom
activities, supervise students, and assist
teachers with daily tasks in a positive,
supportive way. High school diploma or
equivalent required; additional education
in child development or education preferred.
The successful candidate will be provided
a temporary position. Starting salary is
commensurate with experience,
$15.50/hr. plus contractual benefits.

A Teacher Aide supports classroom teachers in providing instruction and supervision to students, ensuring a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, organizing materials, and supporting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts. The aide helps maintain classroom order, monitors student behavior, and supervises students in various settings, such as the cafeteria, playground, or during field trips. Additional duties may include clerical tasks like photocopying, preparing displays, and grading simple assignments. Teacher Aides may assist with special education needs, adapting activities under teacher guidance, and offering extra support to students requiring individualized attention. They are expected to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students while maintaining confidentiality. The position requires patience, reliability, and the ability to follow directions. Candidates must meet school district qualifications, which may include a high school diploma, background clearance, and relevant training or experience working with children.
