Qualifications:
-Teacher Permit with the Office of Education preferred
-12 units in Early Childhood Education, including 3 core areas of Curriculum, Child Family Community, and Child Growth Development
(One course needs to be an infant/toddler course.)
-Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
-Knowledge of Child Development principles and best practices in our field
-Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to create lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
-Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for working with young children
-CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
-Familiarity with state licensing requirements for daycare centers

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $16-19 per hour
Benefits: Employee matched retirement-employee discount on childcare-paid time off for vacation
Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
