Principal Duties & Responsibilities:• Incumbent will perform electrical Preventive Maintenance (PM), troubleshooting and repairs on all Williamsport’s equipment and electrical systems.• Responsible for electrical installation and start-up of new equipment and modifications as needed.• Work safely while performing maintenance and repair work ensuring reliability and safety of electrical systems.• Participate in plant initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and plant performance.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:• Thorough knowledge of electrical discipline across a broad range of subjects.• Competent in electrical safety, AC/DC circuits, motors, system grounding, basic electronics, power systems (120V-67,000V).• Installation/analysis and repair of AC & DC Motor Drives.• Installation/analysis, basic programming, and repair of PLCs & HMIs, understanding NEC and NFPA 70E provisions.• Competence in electrical construction principles.• Familiarity with basic PC functions.Qualifications:• Industrial Electrical or Electronics associate degree required.• 1-2 years experience as industrial electrician preferred, with PLC experience.• Solid, stable work history.• Willingness to work in a team and participate in safety, quality, and production improvement activities.• Must obtain satisfactory score on NOCTI Electrical Examination.Work Environment/Physical Demands:• Ability to stand for long periods and work in hot and cold conditions.• Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, grip, and bend per Pre-employment Screening Requirements.Prysmian is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations as needed.
